As a kid, Steve Woodham saw the Beatles perform live in Los Angeles and has remained under their influence ever since. On his way to a hippie love-in, Woodham fell out of a car and suffered a serious hip fracture. Unable to walk without crutches for three years, Woodham learned to play guitar and write songs. After graduating from high school, he joined a Beatles cover band, Blue Jay Wray, and played the first-ever Beatlefest. He later formed the band Digits, which disintegrated after brawling fans turned on each other in a free-for-all melee. Woodham turned to a life of cutting hair until an arsonist destroyed his business. Soon after he moved to Lake Elsinore, CA and started Anadat Records. Greg Vaughan has been performing for most of his life. Playing the piano since age nine and the guitar since age 12, Vaughan is a graduate of the Musician's Institute in Hollywood. After singing, acting and dancing on stage and in bands, Vaughan took an excursion into what he calls the "temporary insanity of new age conferences and get-rich-quick schemes. Vaughan came back to his musical senses, playing in jazz and country bands until hooking up with Woodham to record this fine album.
